Are you a high school or postsecondary school student? Do you have a passion for entrepreneurship and a million dollar business idea but you’re allowing your young age to limit you from starting that business?
Melinda Skinner, the founder of both Sunstone Jewels and Northern Goods, is a recent Fanshawe College graduate who did not let her age stop her from creating her company.
Sunstone Jewels is a handmade jewelry business focusing on crystal-based jewelry including bracelets, rings, and necklaces for both men and women. Her second business, Northern Goods, is a subscription service delivering handmade Canadian artisan goods.
Listen to my interview with Skinner to learn how she didn’t allow her age to limit her and how you can too.
