Startup: ‘Age is just a number, don’t let it limit you’: college entrepreneur

Melinda Skinner, the founder of both Sunstone Jewels and Northern Goods, is a recent Fanshawe College graduate who did not let her age stop her from creating her company.

Sunstone Jewels is a handmade jewelry business focusing on crystal-based jewelry including bracelets, rings, and necklaces for both men and women. Her second business, Northern Goods, is a subscription service delivering handmade Canadian artisan goods.
