Amanda Pope is an ambitious, positive and creative television host and business owner of five years. While balancing the responsibilities as a student at Ryerson University’s journalism program, Pope is also a news journalist at ELMNT FM and the Founder of Living With Purpose Senior Care.
Pope is passionate about inspiring people to live their best, most fulfilled life. She is currently the host and producer of Coming Home on Cable 14. This lifestyle talk show discusses topics of health and wellness, interior design, cooking, fitness and entrepreneurship.
Pope also has a passion for business journalism and startup companies. She is the podcast host and producer of The Circle on ELMNT FM which features Indigenous entrepreneurs. She has created her own brand as the former producer and host of Cable 14’s Generation Z and the editor of the Generation Z Hamilton online blog and podcast. Generation Z was a business-related show highlighting young entrepreneurs and business experts. Pope was also the creator of the monthly Generation Z Hamilton networking events. These events were a way for entrepreneurs to grow their network, discover business resources and hear from keynote speakers.
Furthermore, Pope is a former business reporter for City Matters on Cable 14, a business reporter for the Virago Magazine, a researcher for CBC, an executive producer for RUtv News and a reporter for the Ryerson Journalism Research Centre.
